You can transport your favourite foods in a convenient and secure way with our airtight enamel container. Whether to the office, to a picnic or to a dinner with friends – simply put the food in the container, close it securely with the metal clamps and transport it easily with the handle. To avoid any accidents, like food leakages, we have built a rubber seal into the lid. This keeps the container sealed. The oval storage container is perfect for keeping leftovers fresh, as enamel is ideally suited for storing food. The non-porous surface is resistant to fruit acid and leaching, and it repels bacteria and dirt. This means that the leftovers can be stored hygienically and will retain their natural flavour.
The airtight container is available in classic white, with a capacity of 0.75 litres.
Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures, therefore it’s made from natural raw materials.
Our enamel cookware is suitable for use with all types of cookers (gas, electric, ceramic, induction and even open flame). Thanks to the iron core, the heat is conducted quickly and is then retained. This ensures sustainable, energy-efficient cooking.
The non-porous, smooth, glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene, as it’s flavour-neutral, prevents bacteria growth and is easy to clean. When used and cared for properly, enamel cookware can provide years of cooking enjoyment and will maintain its characteristic glossy appearance.
The bottom part of this container can also be used as a cooking pot. For example, if you go on a camping holiday you can use the storage container first to transport your food and then to heat it up over a campfire afterwards. Enamel can also be used with open flames and camping stoves.
If you close the container while the contents are still hot you could create a vacuum and might not be able to open the lid afterwards. It’s best to leave the food to cool before closing the lid.
If a vacuum is created, don’t try to open the lid with sharp objects. The vacuum will disappear by itself if the container, along with the contents, is heated and you will then be able to open the lid again easily.
