Description
This jug is the pot that our Grandmas always had standing on the stove. Some people also call it a milk pot or milk mug, but for us it will always be a jug because of its characteristically shaped spout. This spout allows the liquids in the jug to reach the intended container without spilling a drop and is particularly suitable for serving directly at the table thanks to its round handle. The rim is curved – known as a rolled rim in enamel terms – and is created by bending the metal during the manufacturing process to form a rounded and stable rim. Pastel colours aren’t just limited to Grandma’s coffee afternoons with her friends, we love them too as they add a soft accent of colour to our kitchens!
The jug comes in a variety of shapes, colours and designs and you can also find a range of other kitchen utensils in our Pastel range, including pots, bowls in different sizes ranging from very small for muesli to very large for salads, egg pans, ladles and much, much more.
Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures, therefore it’s made from natural raw materials.
Our enamel cookware is suitable for use with all types of cookers (gas, electric, ceramic, induction and even open flame). Thanks to the iron core, the heat is conducted quickly and is then retained. This ensures sustainable, energy-efficient cooking.
The non-porous, smooth, glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene, as it’s flavour-neutral, prevents bacteria growth and is easy to clean. When used and cared for properly, our enamel cookware can provide years of cooking enjoyment and will maintain its characteristic glossy appearance.
Uses:
You can use the jug to conveniently heat up milk, sauces and other liquids.
Tip:
When warming up milk, put a few drops of water in the jug beforehand and only heat it on a medium heat. This stops the milk from burning easily.
