Description:
Our traditional enamel roasting dish with its two typical handles reminds many people of their Grandma’s Chelsea buns or Sunday roast. This roasting dish is the largest in its family, with a width of 50 cm, however, it still easily fits into any oven as the handles are placed quite high to save space.
This baking or roasting dish – depending on the occasion – is a really versatile piece of cookware that can be used for everything that you want to bake, roast or gratinate in the oven and then serve at the table directly afterwards. The food can also be cut in this dish without any problems (with the exception of when glass ceramic knives are used) and the dish itself is very easy to clean.
Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures, therefore it’s made from natural raw materials.
Our enamel cookware is suitable for use with all types of cookers (gas, electric, ceramic, induction and even open flame). Thanks to the iron core, the heat is conducted quickly and is then retained. This ensures sustainable, energy-efficient cooking.
The non-porous, smooth, glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene, as it’s flavour-neutral, prevents bacteria growth and is easy to clean. When used and cared for properly, our enamel cookware can provide years of cooking enjoyment and will maintain its characteristic glossy appearance.
Uses:
The enamel roasting and baking dish can be used to conjure up baked goods and sweet and savoury dishes from strudel, Chelsea buns, sweet casseroles and crumbles, to roasts, lasagnas, pasta bakes, vegetable casseroles and much more. The possibilities are endless, but one thing is certain – anything that you make in this dish will look and taste great!
Tip:
If you use the roasting dish as a baking tin, make sure to grease it well and to flour or crumb it before adding the batter or dough. This ensures that the cake, and anything else that you choose to make in the pan, will not stick and can be easily removed.
