Description:
The ring cake form, also known as a bundt cake form, is a key part of every Sunday afternoon snack break, often accompanied by a cup of coffee, and is still commonly seen at children’s parties or family celebrations in Austria today.
The enamel baking form is suitable for use in all types of ovens. The rim of the enamel ring cake form is curved – this is known as a rolled rim. Thanks to the iron core, heat is evenly distributed, ensuring excellent baking results. Additionally, the form is very easy to clean thanks to its non-porous, smooth surface.
Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures, meaning it is produced from natural raw materials.
The iron core conducts heat quickly and then retains it, enabling sustainable, energy-efficient baking.
The non-porous, smooth glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene. It is flavor-neutral, inhibits bacterial growth, and is easy to clean. When used and maintained correctly, enamel bakeware provides long-lasting enjoyment and retains its characteristic glossy finish.
Uses:
Even the famous Kärntner Reindling (an Austrian yeast cake with a nut filling) can be prepared in the Gugelhupf pan.
Tip:
Be sure to grease the enamel Gugelhupf tin thoroughly and coat it with flour or breadcrumbs before adding the cake mixture. This ensures that the cake, or anything else you bake in the pan, will not stick and can be easily removed.
