The handy braising pan with lid is perfect for preparing braised dishes as well as steaming vegetables or meat. Its fresh colors add a colorful touch to your kitchen, and the pan features two sturdy enamel handles and a rust-free rim, which is particularly durable. Ideal for energy-efficient preparation of long-cooked stew or braised dishes, the braising pan is suitable for both frying and braising on the stove as well as in the oven. The high lid ensures that the evaporated liquid and all aromas remain inside. Without the lid, you can sear meat and vegetables in the pan. The braising pan enables effortless preparation of dishes, which can then be elegantly served directly from the oven to the table. The braising pan is versatile: In addition to stews from various cuisines like beef roulades, paprika chicken, ratatouille, and tajine, you can also prepare aromatic soups. And without the lid, Sunday schnitzels turn out perfectly!
Before first use: Remove the sticker, fill with boiling water and vinegar, and let it sit for a short time.
Cleaning in the dishwasher: RIESS enamel can be washed in the dishwasher. However, we recommend hand washing to ensure long-lasting enjoyment of enamel’s brilliant shine. If you use the dishwasher, select the gentle glassware program to preserve the gloss and vibrant colors of the enamel for as long as possible. For sparkling clean pots and pans, use the gentle glassware program and the cleaning products from our partner Claro. You can find all tips on dishwasher care in this video.
- Before cleaning off food residues or burnt-on remains, fill the still-warm cookware after cooking and emptying with warm – never cold – water and dish soap. After a short soaking period, the cookware can be cleaned effortlessly.
- For particularly stubborn or burnt-on residues, briefly boil water with dish soap.
- For cleaning, use RIESS Enamel Care or a mild scouring milk, as well as the smooth side of a sponge or a soft brush.
- Avoid using wire brushes, steel wool, abrasive powders containing sand or sponges with ceramic particles.
More helpful care tips
- Store the cookware well dried. Any lime stains can be easily removed with vinegar water.
- If flash rust appears on exposed enamel edges or the rim, it can be easily removed with dish soap.
- Exposed enamel edges can be re-oiled from time to time with cooking oil.
The strong, vibrant colour pink is a striking eye-catcher and brings freshness to any kitchen. Pots and casseroles are equipped with a strong heat-retaining steel base, a stainless pouring rim, stainless steel handles and a glass lid.
