The Aroma Pots impress with their timeless and simple design. Made from 100% steel and enamel, the Aroma Pots serve as a cooking pot, soup pot, and braising pot alike. Thanks to the absence of plastic parts, they can be used at high temperatures on any stove and in the oven. The conical shape of the Aroma Pots allows for space-saving stacking, both inside each other and on top of each other. The lid can be flipped over to serve as a coaster, bowl, or plate and serves as a pot holder on the table. When stacked upright, it takes up little space. The Aroma Pots have countless uses, including breakfast porridge, braised dishes, soups, and side dishes. In the oven, they can also serve as a braising pot or baking dish, for instance, for bread. The 20 cm model is also suitable for steaming, with a specially designed steamer available to ensure perfect steaming of vegetables. To prevent rust formation, the rim of the Aroma Pot should be regularly rubbed with a little vegetable oil.
Before first use: Remove the sticker, fill with boiling water and vinegar, and let it sit for a short time.
Cleaning in the dishwasher: RIESS enamel can be washed in the dishwasher. However, we recommend hand washing to ensure long-lasting enjoyment of enamel’s brilliant shine. If you use the dishwasher, select the gentle glassware program to preserve the gloss and vibrant colors of the enamel for as long as possible. For sparkling clean pots and pans, use the gentle glassware program and the cleaning products from our partner Claro. You can find all tips on dishwasher care in this video.
- Before cleaning off food residues or burnt-on remains, fill the still-warm cookware after cooking and emptying with warm – never cold – water and dish soap. After a short soaking period, the cookware can be cleaned effortlessly.
- For particularly stubborn or burnt-on residues, briefly boil water with dish soap.
- For cleaning, use RIESS Enamel Care or a mild scouring milk, as well as the smooth side of a sponge or a soft brush.
- Avoid using wire brushes, steel wool, abrasive powders containing sand or sponges with ceramic particles.
More helpful care tips
- Store the cookware well dried. Any lime stains can be easily removed with vinegar water.
- If flash rust appears on exposed enamel edges or the rim, it can be easily removed with dish soap.
- Exposed enamel edges can be re-oiled from time to time with cooking oil.
The conical shape of the Aromapots makes the series stackable to save space. During cooking, the lid – reversed and set aside – serves as a temporary bowl or plate for ingredients, spoons etc. Later at the table, it takes on the role of a trivet.
