The Aroma Pots are characterized by their timeless and simple design. Made from 100% steel and enamel, the Aroma Pots serve as both pan and baking dish. They are free from screwed-on plastic parts, making them highly heat-resistant and allowing for use on any stove and in the oven. To ensure even expansion of the material and prevent chipping of the enamel coating, the pans should always be heated at low temperatures and increased gradually. The conical shape of the Aroma Pots allows for space-saving stacking, both inside each other and on top of each other. The lid can be flipped over for use as a trailer, bowl, or plate for ingredients, cooking spoons, and other utensils. On the table, the lid serves as a pot coaster, and when stacked upside down, it takes up little space. There are no limits to the creative use of Aroma Pot pans: steaks, vegetables, and egg dishes succeed just as well as quiches and cakes in the oven. To prevent rust formation, the edge of the pan should be regularly rubbed with a little vegetable oil.
Before first use: Remove the sticker, fill with boiling water and vinegar, and let it sit for a short time.
Cleaning in the dishwasher: RIESS enamel can be washed in the dishwasher. However, we recommend hand washing to ensure long-lasting enjoyment of enamel’s brilliant shine. If you use the dishwasher, select the gentle glassware program to preserve the gloss and vibrant colors of the enamel for as long as possible. For sparkling clean pots and pans, use the gentle glassware program and the cleaning products from our partner Claro. You can find all tips on dishwasher care in this video.
- Before cleaning off food residues or burnt-on remains, fill the still-warm cookware after cooking and emptying with warm – never cold – water and dish soap. After a short soaking period, the cookware can be cleaned effortlessly.
- For particularly stubborn or burnt-on residues, briefly boil water with dish soap.
- For cleaning, use RIESS Enamel Care or a mild scouring milk, as well as the smooth side of a sponge or a soft brush.
- Avoid using wire brushes, steel wool, abrasive powders containing sand or sponges with ceramic particles.
More helpful care tips
- Store the cookware well dried. Any lime stains can be easily removed with vinegar water.
- If flash rust appears on exposed enamel edges or the rim, it can be easily removed with dish soap.
- Exposed enamel edges can be re-oiled from time to time with cooking oil.
The conical shape of the Aromapots makes the series stackable to save space. During cooking, the lid – reversed and set aside – serves as a temporary bowl or plate for ingredients, spoons etc. Later at the table, it takes on the role of a trivet.
