With our round sealing box made of enamel, you can securely and conveniently transport your favorite dishes anywhere. Whether to the office, for a picnic, or a dinner with friends – the dishes are filled into the box, sealed tightly with the iron clamp, and can be easily transported using the handle. The rubber seal in the lid prevents leakage of liquid contents. The opened box can also gently warm the contents on the stove, using the clamp’s handle as a grip. The round storage box is ideal for storing cooked foods. The pore-free surface is resistant to fruit acids and alkalis and is bacteria- and dirt-repellent, ensuring hygienic storage of leftovers while preserving their natural taste. For proper use of the sealing box, we provide instructions and care tips. The bottom part of the box can also be used for warming food during camping trips, where food can first be transported and then heated in the box. Enamel is also suitable for open flame and gas burners. If the box is closed with hot contents, a vacuum can occur, and the lid may not open. It is better to let the food cool down before sealing. If a vacuum has formed, do not attempt to open the lid with sharp objects. The vacuum will release itself when the box is warmed, and the lid can then be easily opened.
Before first use: Remove the sticker, fill with boiling water and vinegar, and let it sit for a short time.
Enamel is easy to clean thanks to its smooth, non-porous glass surface – and it inhibits bacterial growth.
- After cooking and emptying, fill the still-warm cookware with warm – never cold – water and dish soap. After a short soaking period, the cookware can be cleaned effortlessly.
- For particularly stubborn or burnt-on residues, briefly boil water with dish soap.
- For cleaning, use RIESS enamel care or a mild scouring milk, along with the smooth side of a sponge or a soft brush.
- Avoid using wire brushes, steel wool, abrasive powders containing sand, or sponges with ceramic particles.
- Store the cookware well dried. Any lime stains can be easily removed with vinegar water.
- If flash rust appears on exposed enamel edges or the rim, it can be easily removed with dish soap.
- Exposed enamel edges can be re-oiled from time to time with cooking oil.
