Our baking pan made from baking enamel is ideal for baking, frying, and braising cakes, casseroles, vegetables, and ragouts. Outside light blue and inside coated with a special anthracite enamel, it allows for particularly easy demolding. Thanks to the enamel handles, the baking pan can be comfortably transported in and out of the oven with pot holders. The baked goods can be cut or unmolded in the pan, as enamel is scratch- and cut-resistant. Alternatively, braised vegetables, casseroles, or ragouts can be served directly from the baking pan at the table, while the iron core keeps the dishes warm for a long time. The baking pan is suitable for use in any oven. The iron core ensures even heat distribution and guarantees exceptionally good baking results. The special anthracite-colored enamel inside makes demolding the baked goods particularly easy. Before pouring in the batter, the mold should be well-greased and dusted with flour or breadcrumbs, so cakes and similar items do not stick and can be easily removed from the mold. Thanks to its pore-free smooth surface, cleaning the enamel baking mold is very easy.
Before first use: Remove the sticker, fill with boiling water and vinegar, and let it sit for a short time.
Cleaning in the dishwasher: RIESS enamel can be washed in the dishwasher. However, we recommend hand washing to ensure long-lasting enjoyment of enamel’s brilliant shine. If you use the dishwasher, select the gentle glassware program to preserve the gloss and vibrant colors of the enamel for as long as possible. - Before cleaning off food residues or burnt-on remains, fill the still-warm cookware after cooking and emptying with warm – never cold – water and dish soap. After a short soaking period, the cookware can be cleaned effortlessly.
- For particularly stubborn or burnt-on residues, briefly boil water with dish soap.
- For cleaning, use RIESS Enamel Care or a mild scouring milk, as well as the smooth side of a sponge or a soft brush.
- Avoid using wire brushes, steel wool, abrasive powders containing sand or sponges with ceramic particles.
More helpful care tips
- Store the cookware well dried. Any lime stains can be easily removed with vinegar water.
- If flash rust appears on exposed enamel edges or the rim, it can be easily removed with dish soap.
- Exposed enamel edges can be re-oiled from time to time with cooking oil.
