Our square baking pan made from baking enamel is perfect for all dishes baked or roasted in the oven. The matching glass lid, heat-resistant up to 200 °C, makes the pan suitable for steaming meat and vegetables in the oven or on the stovetop. Thus, the baking pan can quickly transform into a frying pan with a lid. The baking pan has a curved edge made by bending the metal to create a round and stable rim. In the form, cutting with a knife is possible. From baked sweet dishes and cakes to roasted vegetables and steamed dishes, this baking form is always ready to serve as a real multi-talent. When used as a baking dish, the baking pan should always be greased and dusted with flour or breadcrumbs before pouring in the batter. This way, cakes and similar items will not stick and can be easily removed from the pan.
Before first use: Remove the sticker, fill with boiling water and vinegar, and let it sit for a short time.
Cleaning in the dishwasher: RIESS enamel can be washed in the dishwasher. However, we recommend hand washing to ensure long-lasting enjoyment of enamel’s brilliant shine. If you use the dishwasher, select the gentle glassware program to preserve the gloss and vibrant colors of the enamel for as long as possible. - Before cleaning off food residues or burnt-on remains, fill the still-warm cookware after cooking and emptying with warm – never cold – water and dish soap. After a short soaking period, the cookware can be cleaned effortlessly.
- For particularly stubborn or burnt-on residues, briefly boil water with dish soap.
- For cleaning, use RIESS Enamel Care or a mild scouring milk, as well as the smooth side of a sponge or a soft brush.
- Avoid using wire brushes, steel wool, abrasive powders containing sand or sponges with ceramic particles.
More helpful care tips
- Store the cookware well dried. Any lime stains can be easily removed with vinegar water.
- If flash rust appears on exposed enamel edges or the rim, it can be easily removed with dish soap.
- Exposed enamel edges can be re-oiled from time to time with cooking oil.
