Our traditional enamel baking dish with the typical two carrying handles evokes memories of Grandma's delicious yeast dumplings or the Sunday roast from the 'Bratenreindl'. This versatile dish is perfect for everything that should be baked, roasted, or gratinated in the oven. Both sweet and savory dishes can be prepared in it and then served directly at the table and sliced. From strudel, yeast dumplings, cakes, sweet bakes, and crumbles to roast pork, lasagna, ham noodles, and grain casseroles – the imagination knows no bounds. Thanks to the robust enamel surface, the dish is easy to clean and ready for the next use. No matter which dish, this dish ensures everything is presented perfectly.
Before first use: Remove the sticker, fill with boiling water and vinegar, and let it sit for a short time.
Cleaning in the dishwasher: RIESS enamel can be washed in the dishwasher. However, we recommend hand washing to ensure long-lasting enjoyment of enamel’s brilliant shine. If you use the dishwasher, select the gentle glassware program to preserve the gloss and vibrant colors of the enamel for as long as possible. For sparkling clean pots and pans, use the gentle glassware program and the cleaning products from our partner Claro. You can find all tips on dishwasher care in this video.
- Before cleaning off food residues or burnt-on remains, fill the still-warm cookware after cooking and emptying with warm – never cold – water and dish soap. After a short soaking period, the cookware can be cleaned effortlessly.
- For particularly stubborn or burnt-on residues, briefly boil water with dish soap.
- For cleaning, use RIESS Enamel Care or a mild scouring milk, as well as the smooth side of a sponge or a soft brush.
- Avoid using wire brushes, steel wool, abrasive powders containing sand or sponges with ceramic particles.
More helpful care tips
- Store the cookware well dried. Any lime stains can be easily removed with vinegar water.
- If flash rust appears on exposed enamel edges or the rim, it can be easily removed with dish soap.
- Exposed enamel edges can be re-oiled from time to time with cooking oil.
Our 'baking enamel' collection elevates the quality of baking tins, molds, pans and baking tools to enhance your baking experience. All items are light blue on the outside and have a special anthracite-coloured enamel on the inside, which makes it particularly easy to unmould.
