Our round, flat enamel lids are the perfect accessory for RIESS enamel bowls. They seal the bowls tightly and can also be inverted as serving plates, while the bowl acts as a cover. This keeps food, fruits, and vegetables well covered in the kitchen or refrigerator. With the lid, the bowls with their content are also stackable. Bowls and lids can be used separately. The bowls serve as round containers or serving dishes for fruits, vegetables, salads, doughs, muesli, and much more. The lids are ideal for presenting fruits, vegetables, cakes, and cheese and can also be used as round serving plates for cutting.
Before first use: Remove the sticker, fill with boiling water and vinegar, and let it sit for a short time.
Cleaning in the dishwasher: RIESS enamel can be washed in the dishwasher. However, we recommend hand washing to ensure long-lasting enjoyment of enamel’s brilliant shine. If you use the dishwasher, select the gentle glassware program to preserve the gloss and vibrant colors of the enamel for as long as possible. - Before cleaning off food residues or burnt-on remains, fill the still-warm cookware after cooking and emptying with warm – never cold – water and dish soap. After a short soaking period, the cookware can be cleaned effortlessly.
- For particularly stubborn or burnt-on residues, briefly boil water with dish soap.
- For cleaning, use RIESS Enamel Care or a mild scouring milk, as well as the smooth side of a sponge or a soft brush.
- Avoid using wire brushes, steel wool, abrasive powders containing sand or sponges with ceramic particles.
More helpful care tips
- Store the cookware well dried. Any lime stains can be easily removed with vinegar water.
- If flash rust appears on exposed enamel edges or the rim, it can be easily removed with dish soap.
- Exposed enamel edges can be re-oiled from time to time with cooking oil.
