Description
Every kitchen needs a saucepan and our enamel version is in a form that everyone in Austria is familiar with. Thanks to the practical spout and long handle, liquids such as milk, water, soup and sauces can be served easily without a drop being spilt.
The saucepan is a much-loved helper in the kitchen and can even also be used as a milk pan.
The rim is curved – known as a rolled rim in enamel terms – and is created by bending the metal during the manufacturing process to form a rounded and stable rim. The handle is made from enamel and has a hole so that the pan can be hung up in the kitchen as decoration and is always within arms reach.
This RIESS classic is available in pastel colours or white, or in the dirndl, Gmunder floral pattern, green stag, red stag and orchard designs.
Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures. Our enamel products are suitable for use with all types of cookers (gas, electric, ceramic, induction and even open flame). Thanks to its iron core, the enamel conducts heat in the blink of an eye and retains it for a long time, ensuring energy-efficient cooking. The non-porous, smooth, glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene. Enamel cookware is also recommended for people with nickel allergies.

You can use the saucepan to warm up and comfortably serve milk for your morning coffee, soup for your lunch or vanilla sauce for your strudel.

Tips:
When warming up milk, put a few drops of water in the saucepan beforehand and then heat it on a medium heat. This stops the milk from burning.
