Description
Our high-sided pots with chrome rim and a handle are available in white and in our popular pastel colours (pink, turquoise, yellow). Each size is only available in ONE pastel colour. The high-sided pot has a classic straight-sided shape and a chrome rim. There are 3 sizes in the Pastel version (12 cm/1 litre, 14 cm/1.5 litres and 16 cm/2.0 litres) and one size in the White version (16 cm/2 litres) in total.
The lids for the pots are optional and can be bought separately. The lid fits the pot perfectly and acts as an energy monitor. As soon as the lid begins to rattle, it’s time to reduce the heat and save energy. The heat can even be completely turned off around 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time, depending on the type of cooker, as enamel retains heat for a long time. As such, we strongly recommend that you use potholders when removing the pot and lid, as the enamel handles also retain the heat. However, the advantage of the enamel handles is that you can also simply slide the pot into the oven to keep warm without worrying about if the pot will be damaged in any way. The pot features with a robust chrome rim.
Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures, therefore it’s made from natural raw materials.
Our enamel cookware is suitable for use with all types of cookers (gas, electric, ceramic, induction and even open flame). Thanks to the iron core, the heat is conducted quickly and is then retained. This ensures sustainable, energy-efficient cooking.
The non-porous, smooth, glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene, as it’s flavour-neutral, prevents bacteria growth and is easy to clean. When used and cared for properly, our enamel cookware can provide years of cooking enjoyment and will maintain its characteristic glossy appearance.
Use
The high-sided pot with handle is traditionally used to heat up soups, milk or other liquids.
Tips
Alongside the high-sided pot with a handle, there are also casseroles, stewpots, saucepans with a spout, jugs, ladles, whistling kettles, bowls, mixing bowls and much more in our Classic Pastel and Classic White ranges. This means that you can put together your own individual kitchenware set from the large RIESS CLASSIC range and continue to add to it. The pastel and white colours can also be perfectly combined depending on your own personal taste.
