The trivet consists of a round, carved beech board with a handle and a holder for the pan handle. The trivet can be placed on the table and hot frying pans straight off the stove can be placed directly on top, so that dishes like dumplings, pasta bakes, omelettes, etc. can be presented in an attractive way. The two grooves stop pans with diameters of 20 and 24 cm from slipping. The 20 and 24 cm woodcutter’s pans come in black and in green, red and blue.
The trivet is a handy kitchen accessory that can be used to serve food directly from our rustic woodcutter’s pan at the table. This way food can either be eaten directly out of the pan, as would have been done in the past, or it can be divided up and served at the table.
To clean the trivet, all you need to do is rinse it off after each use and grease with oil from time to time.
