Description:
This oven dish has sides that are 4.5 cm high. As such, it’s ideal for making roasts, quiches and traybakes, or pretty much anything that can be roasted, baked or stewed in the oven.
It’s made from robust black enamel. The rim is curved – known as a rolled rim in enamel terms – and is created by bending the metal during the manufacturing process to form a rounded and stable rim. The dish is mostly used in the oven.
Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures, therefore it’s made from natural raw materials.
Our enamel cookware is suitable for use with all types of cookers (gas, electric, ceramic, induction and even open flame). Thanks to the iron core, the heat is conducted quickly and is then retained. This ensures sustainable, energy-efficient cooking.
The non-porous, smooth, glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene, as it’s flavour-neutral, prevents bacteria growth and is easy to clean. When used and cared for properly, our enamel cookware can provide years of cooking enjoyment and will maintain its characteristic glossy appearance.
Uses:
From traybakes and Christmas biscuits, to quiches, pizzas, potato wedges and much more, this practical dish can be used to make almost anything and is an indispensable helper in the kitchen. Of course, it’s also great for cooking larger quantities of food, for example when you have lots of people over for dinner or for when you are preparing food for a party.
Tip:
If you use the oven dish for baking, make sure that you grease it well and that you flour or crumb it before adding the batter or dough. This ensures that cakes, and anything else that you choose to make in it, will not stick and can be easily removed.
