Description:
Steam cooking without your own electrical appliance? Our three-part steam cooker is designed exactly for these cases. Thanks to the steam holes in the cooking insert, vegetables, pasta, fish or meat are cooked gently and tenderly. Steam cooking means cooking in a way that is gentle on vitamins and nutrients. The hot steam prevents the ingredients from leaching or drying out. The food remains natural and thus has a more intense taste. You need less fat, salt and spices because the ingredients are preserved.
The versatile steam cooker is also very useful for defrosting, reheating food or sterilizing objects.
The steamer has a square shape without a handle, making the steamer very easy to store, even in kitchens with little storage space. The inspection glass lid allows the cooking process to be observed
The material enamel consists of iron, which was fused with glass at high temperatures, i.e. natural raw materials.
Our enamel cookware can be used on all types of stove (gas, electric, glass ceramic, induction and even over open fire). Thanks to the iron core, the heat is quickly conducted and then stored: for sustainable, energy-saving cooking.
Perfect hygiene is guaranteed by the smooth, poreless glass surface. This is aroma-neutral and bacteria-inhibiting and is also easy to clean. When used and cared for properly, enamel tableware gives pleasure for a long time and retains its typical shine.
Uses:
Not only vegetables can be gently cooked in the steamer, but also Asian dumplings, chicken or fish fillets and much more. Deep-frozen food can be easily thawed in it, and food leftovers can be gently warmed. The all-rounder can also be used for sterilizing pacifiers, jars and more.
Here’s how it works: Fill the steamer with sufficient water and place the food on the steamer base. The food should not lie in water. Then put the lid on. As soon as the water boils, reduce the temperature slightly.
Tip:
Always keep the steamer closed during cooking so that the steam does not escape but condenses on the lid. So everything remains juicy and tender and no energy is lost.
When opening the lid, always wear gloved potholders to protect yourself from the hot steam
